The Nautical Series
Depicted here are some fine examples from our exciting series of nautical-themed acrylic paintings. Generally measuring 26" x 36" unframed, they are executed on a special high-tech acid-free paper that's an excellent background for the acrylic medium. Full of action and an incredible sense of light, these vividly rendered paintings are a compliment to any home or business, and are seen at their best when accompanied by a wide linen 'mat' and an elegant gold frame.
The prints listed below are all high quality giclee' reproductions
They are printed with archival inks and papers.

Sizes listed are image dimensions. Paper size will be larger...

The above painting was done as a commission for Sailing Alternatives, Inc. The Sonar sailboat in the painting is the primary race-boat for disabled sailing in the U.S. With only limited modifications, such as the seat the skipper is sitting in, or the bench for the foredeck crew, these sailors can compete on an equal basis with the hundreds of able-bodied sailors around the world.
Sailing Alternatives, a non-profit corporation started in August of 1992, provides much of the training and coaching to teams around the world. From intense week-long clinics teaching rules to the Armenians to on-going coaching to the US teams, SALT is constantly working to raise the overall level of the sport, and improve the opportunities for sailors with disabilities.
Each donation made to Sailing Alternatives directly supports the activities and efforts of the disabled sailors. Donations are tax-deductible, and can be directed to support an activity of your choice.
Ninety percent of the proceeds of each "Testing The Limits" print sold goes to SALT.
