So you want to know the story behind the red string?

Well.......

   

 Maybe it's just to keep track of things....like keys...

    or tails...........

Or maybe........it just sort of `hangs around.........

Or.......it could be used to trick small amphibians

Or used to mark a spot, so I don't forget where I was............

   Then again, it could be said that what the red string really does is signify

the connection between the artist and the work......

Or maybe, the connection between the artist and the client?

Or it may, quite possibly, be just a simple way to show the illusion of space.
